This is absolutely insane.
A woman in her 20s has just died in Brazil after workers at a bungee jumping spot forgot to attach her cord.
I'm not even kidding, forgot.
Now, this happened on Saturday morning at a place called the Skeleton Bridge in Sao Paulo.
And video show two of the crew holding this woman above their heads, and only after throwing her off the edge, they realize they forgot something pretty damn important.
And when emergency services arrived, they confirmed that the woman, Maria Eduarda, died on the spot.
First responders say that her fiance was at the bridge and had to be taken for medical care after he found out that she had died.
Now, six people connected to the event have been detained and local media say that two suspects tried to flee the scene and had to be tracked down in a nearby forest by a police helicopter.
And just to make this even crazier, civil police are now investigating whether this gets treated as a crime because this is, apparently this isn't even negligence.
It was a totally unregulated setup on a bridge that had been abandoned for over three decades and people were still lining up to use it.
