The disaster in Nepal is so much worse than we could have imagined.
That thing you are seeing being swept along by the currents, that is a giant boulder the size of a building.
Anything that was in its path was swept away like it was nothing, including the dam itself, and videos captured from the mountains show the staggering scale and power of these floods.
These are literally scenes that you would see in an end of the world Hollywood movie.
More than 1,300 people are now missing, more than 20 bridges, and 40 km of road were destroyed.
Around a dozen expensive hydroelectric projects were damaged, countless trucks and vehicles were washed away, and thousands of people have been left stranded in the mountains looking at their homes in ruins.
And what a lot of people forget is that in disasters like this, it's not only humans that suffer.
I mean here we see a video of some baby elephants, which barely survived after they were also swept away.
More than 5,000 army and police rescue personnel have joined the effort, and every available aircraft in Nepal has been called in to assist, including 14 helicopters.
But, just to make matters even worse, experts are now warning of a secondary potential flooding event as a result of all the debris that was washed into the river systems from the first.
So whatever you do, keep Nepal in your thoughts and prayers.
