We have a major update from Open AI.

They're merging chat GPT with Codex.

Let me show you what that means for you so you can see how powerful this thing is.

Okay, so on desktop, there are now three ways to use chat GPT: chat, Codex, and the newly introduced chat GPT Work.

Quick Chat is the same chat experience you know and love, just now in a sidecar.

Codex is still there for developers and better than ever.

And Work is a new agent that can take action across your apps and files, stay with the project for hours if needed, and turn a goal into finished work.

What do I mean?

Well, let me give you an example.

This is all powered by Open AI's latest Frontier model, GPT 5.6, which to me, has a super power, UI generation.

The problem with AI interface design has been that it's all sort of look the same.

Not anymore.

I mean, check out some of these examples.

It's unreal.

But that's not the part that I'm most excited to show you.

No, the part that I'm most excited to show you is the future of Vibe Coding.

Check it out.

With Chat GPT Sites, which can be used in both Codex and Work, you no longer have to worry about authentication, databases, hosting, or deployment.

You can now deploy your site in one click just by tagging sites, and it's immediately live on the internet with a shareable URL.

That's right.

Chat GPT is now completely state of the art at creating artifacts like slides, PDFs, spreadsheets, and other finished work that you can actually use.

Rough idea to production-ready results, all in one clean workflow.

So download the Chat GPT desktop app today and start living in the future.

Big news from @OpenAI - not only are they launching GPT 5.6 Sol, but they are merging Codex into the ChatGPT desktop app.

On desktop, there are now three ways to use ChatGPT: Quick Chat, Codex… and the newly introduced, ChatGPT Work.

Quick chat is the ChatGPT experience you’re already familiar with, just now in a sidecar. I found this experience very useful as I no longer had to switch tabs back and forth during a work session.

Codex is still there for developers, and improved greatly with the new underlying models.

And Work is a new agent that can take action across your apps and files, stay with a project for hours (and hours and hours) if needed, and turn a goal into finished work.

Let’s talk about GPT 5.6. I’ve had early access to it, and it is extremely powerful (and ~half the price of Fable)

To me, it is superior to any model out there in two key areas:

Writing: it is an incredible collaborator for producing content scripts, marketing emails, etc. It writes very clearly and cleverly, without any of the odd syntax and language we’re used to from past AI models.

UI Design: it seems to have a real design “intuition.” It makes surprisingly good choices in hierarchy, composition, motion etc that I haven’t yet seen in another model.

Have you had a chance to try it? Would love to hear how you like it.
